Wesley Barrow Stadium
New Orleans, LA
Wesley Barrow Stadium, built in 1957, was a central fixture of New Orleans’ Pontchartrain Park and home to a number of local baseball teams. In 2005, the stadium was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Through a partnership with Major League Baseball, we built a 650-seat facility that signaled both a revitalization and a promise. Today, the Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy operates at the site, providing free, year-round baseball instruction to underserved youth.
