The Chateau LeMoyne Hotel was originally designed as townhouses by renowned architect James Gallier over 140 years ago. The program for this facility included exterior renovations as well as upgrades and modernization of 171 guest rooms and suites, all public areas, and the center courtyard, which serves as the building’s focal point.

We were challenged with incorporating modern, contemporary design elements while maintaining the charm and aesthetic appropriate for the building’s historic French Quarter location. This was accomplished by blending the new, contemporary finishes and fixtures while featuring the rustic existing materials which include the original masonry walls, cypress beam ceilings, and ornate wrought iron railings.
